American Beta has got a good reason to brag about their new standing in the ranks of sport dirt bikes. At one of America's toughest motosport challenges, Cody Webb + Beta= More sales.
In an unfortunate incident, newly Husqvarna mounted Mike Brown, who was looking good in winning the holeshot contest in his heat suffered a nasty cut to his hand, and had to retire early....Look for Mike to come back stronger and a continual threat as the season moves on to the next venue for Endurocross, at the Austin, Texas based X-games.
Husqvarn's Mike Brown suffered a nasty cut to his finger in the main and ended retiring....if it hurt Mike enough to do that....it must have been a rough one...
Cody gets going...
In the main event, it was Cody Webb, and his 300 cc two-stroke powered Beta, that showed why the determined racer is the odds on favorite to challenge KTM/Red Bull's Taddy Blazusiak for this years title. Haaker made a last-lap pass on Blazusiak for second as Taddy became stuck in a rock section. Webb would take a convincing win over Haaker, in second, with Blazusiak finishing the night in third.
It's pretty clear who the happy guys are in this photo...Cody Webb and Colton Haaker were thrilled to go one, two in Vegas. Taddy Blazusiak, on the other hand, was not a happy camper, even with a podium finish for the night....
Next stop? Austin, Texas and the X-games...
