IN THE DIRT - Ken Boyko & Harry Klemm Kenny Boyko and Harry Klemm both worked at DG Performance back when this upstart California company dominated the off road Gary Chaplin and Darryl Bassani Two of the nicest guys in racing, Gary Chaplin the ebullient former Maico rider and exhaust impresario Darryl Bassani. Gary Chaplin was, and is, one of the most respected riders in MX history. Rode for Fac- tory Maico and competed at a top pro level from 1972 through 1976. Darryl Bassani is one of the legends of pipe building and continues to do so today. Both really good guys. Jim “The Greek” Gianatsis Jim was a Cycle News moto journalist contributor who covered the National Motocross scene . Jim is responsible for some of the most iconic photos ever taken in MX and continues today with his Fast Dates calendars (lots of Hot Chicas there). We welcome Jim aboard the DIRT ILL team as a regular columnist for us, giving you the behind the scenes stories on the most spectacular of his Vintage MX shots. Welcome aboard Jimmy.
