IN THE DIRT - Mrs. Buck & Diane Boley Dianne Boley and her mom wel- come a slew of Old So. Cal. Pros, friends, pals, and assorted media riff raff to their exquisite house in balmy Orange County, California each year, to observe the annual “Old So Cal Pro” reunion party. A top event on any So. Cal. or No. Cal. pro-racers Calendar. The Boley’s are gracious hosts to famous and infamous racer types that tore up the tracks of the birth- place of five days a week mx racing. A lot of former and present pro mo- tocross riders and friends congregate at the Boleys house for fine food, fine drinks, and fine conversation, with MC’s Steve Bauer and Tim Buck. This is one of the best moto par- ties all year, and highly anticipated. A tip of the DIRT ILL visor to the Boley’s for hosting this way too much fun event. Greg Brindle as Elvis They say the king is dead, but Elvis sightings continue. This one is of a stylistic buddy of Ketch’s - Greg Bringle, a longtime good friend, who does one of the best Elvis impersonations, we’ve seen. “Thank you very much,”. Ketch and Greg go way back, all the way to their epic 1992 Pikes Peak Hillclimb, where Greg figured he had an easy win against a few of his buddies. Twas not to be, as Ketch stole Greg’s thunder at the Peak, taking the win that first year. Greg now has to be content doing his Elvis schtick, instead of pos- sessing the fancy chunk of rock Ketch took home. Sorry bout that Gregarious.
